Various Rose Traffic Orders!

Here are a list of city centre traffic orders!

THISTLE STREET

Start Date and Time : 13 May 2017 18:00

Location : Thistle Street


Description :
Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 18:00 on 13 May, 2017until 20:00 on 14 May, 2017.is to impose a temporary prohibition of waiting on either side of Thistle Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Rose Street and Chapel Street. From 06:00 until 20:00 on 14 May, 2017, there will be a temporary prohibition of driving on Thistle Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Rose Street and Chapel Street. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during a Street Market.


Alternate Route :
An alternative route is available via Rose Street, Huntly Street and Chapel Street.

Saint Catherine’s Wynd

Description : Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:30 on 15 May, 2017, until 18:00 on 17 May, 2017, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on St. Catherine’s Wynd, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Netherkirkgate and Union Street. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during SSE reconnection works.

 

Union Street, Broad Street Castle Street

Location : Union Street, Broad Street Castle Street
Description : Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 62(1) of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984. The order provides for the Kirkin the Council Parade. The effect of the order, which will operate between 10:00 and 11:00 and again between 12:00 and 13:00 on Sunday, 21 May, 2017, is to impose a prohibition of driving on Union Street, Aberdeen, between its junction with Broad Street and Union Terrace; and on Castle Street, Aberdeen, between its junction with Broad Street and Marischal Street.
